Hasmik has been a BetterPhoto member since 4/6/2003.

Born and raised in the Middle East, Hasmik lived and studied in Europe, and now calls Southern California home. Hasmik’s love of photography started at an early age with point and shoot cameras. She has since moved on to using professional digital cameras to capture the world the way she sees it. She has also ventured into drawing, sketching, oil and water color painting. Her diverse background and experiences on the three continents have given her a unique view of the world and a broader appreciation for life.

Hasmik speaks several languages, writes, has been published, and currently is working on a novel.

Hasmik is active in the community and with social issues. She dedicates her art to raising awareness and funds for Aicardi Syndrome, a rare and devastating neurological disorder that preys on innocent little girls.
